Saturday’s Second Annual Temecula Valley Educators Association Fun 2B Fit Event at Temecula Valley High School was the chapter’s second community engagement activity this school year. The event focuses on an active healthy lifestyle and offered a free 5K Run and field games for children Kindergarten through grade five at Golden Bear Stadium.

Each Fun 2B Fit field event participant received a medal, T-shirt, and additional giveaways from vendors who supported the citywide event. Over thirty student volunteers, including the TVHS Air Force Junior ROTC, assisted in monitoring the running course and overseeing the field activities.

Returning participants were pleased with the variety of events and giveaways. TVEA leaders were pleased that enthusiastic parents who attended this year’s event solicited this year’s volunteers to offer to sign up and assist in next year’s activity.
