While he prefers you believe otherwise, the majority of Villaraigosa’s campaign funds come from a few billionaires who are propping up his flagging candidacy with stacks of cash. This political action committee hides under a misleading euphemism as it funnels millions for ads that, if gubernatorial polls are accurate, most Californians would prefer not to suffer through.

The San Diego Free Press describes the committee as “…full of plenty of doublespeak as the “Families and Teachers for Antonio” group.
